This is an update from my earlier review. I have now come to a successful conclusion of this first round of cancer treatment. While I know this represents winning the first battle in what may be a prolonged war I am feeling more relaxed about the future. This optimism has only been possible through the kindness and support provided by Sarah, and the compassion and professionalism of the many individuals and departments within the NHS that provided my tests and treatments. Sarah has helped me navigate my way, not only through my many appointments and my treatments but also, through my interactions with family and friends. I know that as I continue with my tests and scans into a slightly uncertain future I can continue to rely on Sarah for support and encouragement. McMillan Nurses, their helpline, and the various guides and leaflets are a vital resource for anyone undergoing cancer treatment. Everyone going through a cancer diagnosis needs their own Sarah Rehana.

I have been dealing with Sarah on behalf of my mum. Sarah is Amazing. She listened and she provided support to both mum and myself. She answered all our questions and managed all our concerns and provided reassurance. She has been so patient and understanding of mums needs. Sarah has been efficient and we have received calls and paperwork in a timely manner. It is really reassuring for us that we call her any time. I would just like to thank Sarah sincerely for supporting mum and the family through this challenging time .. we are very grateful to have had her on this journey with us.

I was, I suspect, far from the normal cancer patient that Sarah sees. To her immense credit, Sarah quickly adapted to my personality, beliefs and needs. The comfort and value in having someone always on your side, and keeping you moving through the NHS system, cannot be overstated. Given that I have not had the need to seek NHS treatment as an inpatient for some 50 years, it is difficult to imagine how I would have fared without Sarah's support and encouragement.

Sarah is amazing! She is kind and always replies to my emails straight away as well as always being available if I ever need to chat over the phone. She listens to me and is very caring. I feel comfortable enough with her to voice any concerns regardless of how big or small they may be. She goes above and beyond. I'm extremely lucky to have her as my designated nurse.

Sarah explains things in a way that I can understand and if I have questions, she answers them in a comforting way. She is very understanding, friendly and professional. I trust her nursing skills.
